Notice how the bizarre narrowness of the sightliner cab (kind of halfway to “yard truck” means the sleeper cab has a forward window..

Oh, it’s new trucks absolutely, but I’d bet they reused old tools & d ies. That shape is a little too close to be a coincidence .

In parallel. They made the Loadstar with that cab up until the end of the 70s. It’s also not quite as lazy as Ford using C-series metal with a booster seat:
Even has the same bumper, with extra holes.
They converted the wrong-place wheel arch into a toolbox(?) with an extra step . The absolute lads.
Nicknamed a “two story Falcon”.
